The elements will divide Ukraine: thunderstorms and storms in the west, heat in the east

On Saturday, July 19, thunderstorms are expected in Ukraine, mainly in the west and north. At night, rain with thunderstorms may also affect the central and eastern regions, while the southern regions will remain under the influence of dry air.
This is reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.
The air temperature in the western regions will fluctuate within +20…+24 degrees, in the north – from +24 to +26 degrees. In the central regions, +25…+28 degrees are expected, except for Vinnytsia, where thermometers will show +20…+22. In the east, the air will warm up from +26 to +35 degrees – the hottest will be in Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Southern regions will experience temperatures of +27…+34 degrees, in particular in Zaporizhia and the steppe part of Crimea.
On Sunday, July 20, short-term thunderstorms are likely in the western and northern regions, and precipitation is possible in the Luhansk region on Sunday evening. Dry weather will remain in the rest of Ukraine. The temperature regime will not change significantly compared to Saturday.
In Kyiv, local short-term rains with thunderstorms are expected on July 19-20. The daytime temperature will fluctuate within +20…+23 degrees, which will create comfortable conditions for the weekend.
Starting Monday, a sharp increase in temperature is expected in most regions, except for the western regions, where it will become cooler on Tuesday. The southern region will continue to be affected by the heat. According to preliminary forecasts, a softening of the temperature regime in the south should be expected around July 26.
