On the night of December 22, the Russian occupation army attacked energy system facilities in several Ukrainian regions.

This was reported by Ukrenergo and the Ministry of Energy .

As it became known, the enemy massively shelled infrastructure in the Odessa, Zaporizhia, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zhytomyr regions.

By morning, consumers were partially restored. However, a significant number of residents of the Odessa region remain without electricity.

Emergency and restoration work is currently underway, and energy companies are eliminating the consequences of Russian strikes.

At the same time, due to previous massive attacks on energy facilities, hourly outage schedules for residential consumers and capacity limitation schedules for business and industry will be implemented in some places.

Among other things, Ukrenergo noted that electricity consumption meets seasonal norms, but at the same time, the company urged consumers to use electricity economically.

“Please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances as much as possible. If possible, postpone energy-intensive processes to night hours – after 11:00 p.m. Economical consumption of electricity will contribute to a shorter duration of forced outages,” the message says.

As a reminder, on December 22, Russian occupiers struck Odessa twice during the night , attacking the city’s critical infrastructure, as a result of which some residents were left without electricity.

It was previously reported that, amid Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy, the German government announced the allocation of additional funds to protect infrastructure.
