Have you heard about Sumy Oblast? Haven’t you? Then I sincerely congratulate you. We have reached the point where we are on the offensive in the same places where we recently advanced on the territory of Russia – but practically no one cares about this. Let me remind you of the chronology a little.

On May 23, it became known about the loss of the border villages of Novenke, Zhuravka, Veselivka and Basivka in the Sumy region. News about Russian attacks in this direction appeared much earlier – back in April. A characteristic detail is that the Russian offensive on the Sumy region began immediately after the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the territories of the Kursk region. The offensive on the Kursk region (I will also remind you) was supposed to, like, secure the Sumy region. Secured it?

Russian troops are constantly attacking. On May 28, Bilovody was lost, the enemy broke into Loknya. On May 31, the enemy captured Volodymyrivka. On June 1, Kostyantynivka. On June 3, we lost Oleksiivka and Andriivka. On June 6, Kindrativka fell. On June 9, Loknya was finally lost, the enemy established itself on the outskirts of Yunakivka and Yablunivka.

In less than a month, 197 sq. km. of territory were lost. Ukrainian territory.

And here, I just have to remind you something. This invasion of the enemy into Slobozhanshchyna is far from the first. And when the enemy made the first invasion in that direction, the European Solidarity party asked the authorities a completely valid question – where are the fortifications?

You know, since World War I (and actually earlier) it has been known that troops in defense are more resilient the better equipped their positions are in terms of engineering. An infantry unit in an open field is a target. But the same unit in a trench with concrete dugouts and equipped firing points, covered by a minefield and wire fences, is a great force. The presence of fortifications increases the resilience of troops in defense many times over.

And here the authorities and their ZEbotva simply cannot say that EuroSolidarity is thickening the colors and PR. Serhiy Sternenko screams about the same thing – about the lack of engineering equipment at the front in his videos. Did he go to the dustbin or did he taste the Kyiv cake?

Could it be that we are all just telling the truth?

Let me remind you. Petro Poroshenko stated that it is necessary to immediately invest in the construction of defense facilities back on August 29, 2023, when it became obvious that a long defensive war was approaching. Did the Poroshenko government listen then?

I will give just two figures. The authorities spent 20 billion UAH on cashbacks (read: on indirect bribery of voters), and only 800 million on fortifications. At the same time, the Petro Poroshenko Foundation transferred 78 excavators (!!) to the front for the construction of fortifications by the forces of combat units alone.

What happened to the Petro Poroshenko Foundation soon after? At first, the military was forbidden to accept equipment from the Poroshenko Foundation – I know exactly what I’m writing about. Then Petro Poroshenko was subject to sanctions – preventive, that is, just in case, and not for anything specific.

When the fighting began in the Kharkiv region, EuroSolidarity deputies (Gerashchenko, Ariev, Siumar, Pavlenko, Gerasimov, etc.) went to the front and publicized the “fortifications” they had seen. The deputies sounded the alarm – the Armed Forces of Ukraine dug in with shovels and took up the fight on hastily built fortifications. In fact, it was then that the Poroshenko Foundation began to transfer excavators to the front.

For this, the green TG-dumpsters and the entire ZEkta shouted in one breath that “Poroshenko is doing PR.” All those same black-mouthed people are now silent, that the enemy is advancing deep into the Sumy region and that he has 20 km left to Sumy. Will we see battles on the outskirts of the regional center? What is the government doing to strengthen the army?

I predict objections, they say, the matter is not in the fortifications, but in the lack of people – they say, “Ukrainians do not want to defend Ukraine,” they are running from the CCC, etc. I will answer: carrying out mobilization is the direct duty of all authorities, starting with the Office of the President. The opposition has repeatedly proposed to the authorities to join forces, create a Government of National Trust with the participation of the opposition and share responsibility with the authorities. The authorities reject all proposals for a Government of National Trust. Therefore, the Zelensky-Yermak team bears responsibility for the situation at the front. And only it.

Therefore, the question is for the authorities. The enemy is advancing. Authorities – where are you?
