Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, made a working visit to the Donetsk region, focusing on the Pokrovsk direction.

He wrote about this in Telegram.

According to him, the Pokrovsk direction remains the most intense sector along the entire front line, with around 50 clashes occurring there daily.

Syrskyi emphasized that in this area, Russian occupation forces have concentrated their largest group—approximately 111,000 personnel.

“In addition, the enemy is attempting to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk region, primarily for demonstrative purposes,” the Commander-in-Chief noted.

He added that two weeks ago, Russian sabotage and assault groups were actively operating in the area. However, Ukrainian Defense Forces either destroyed or neutralized them, pushing the remaining units back.
As a reminder, over the past 24 hours, 187 combat clashes took place on the front. The most difficult was in the Pokrovsky direction, where 56 assault actions by the Russians were recorded.

By the way, there is high activity of Russian troops in many eastern directions of the front. This indicates an intensification of the enemy’s offensive.
