The EU has named the conditions for Ukraine to receive over 10 billion euros

The European Union is ready to provide Ukraine with over 10 billion euros in budget support, but for this, Kyiv must implement 25 reforms and key steps. They concern the judicial system, public administration, economy, and social policy.

This is reported by “European Pravda” with reference to its own sources in the EU.

This is the updated “Ukrainian Plan” within the framework of the Ukraine Facility program. It was agreed upon by the ambassadors of the European Union countries last week, and the document is due to be finally approved on July 30.

Ukraine will be able to receive the first tranche of funding in the amount of 2.86 billion euros after implementing seven reforms. In particular, it is necessary to introduce transparent selection of top-level prosecutors, adopt legislation on simplified bankruptcy for small and medium-sized businesses, and improve the state register of farms.

The EU is ready to allocate another 7.5 billion euros after the implementation of 18 next steps. These include the appointment of independent supervisory boards at state-owned enterprises, the launch of a renewed system for the enforcement of court decisions, investments in education and healthcare, as well as providing housing for disabled veterans, families of deceased military personnel, and internally displaced persons.

In addition, the plan includes 34 more reforms. Their implementation will open Ukraine access to an additional 5 billion euros in financial assistance in 2026.
