On Tuesday, September 8, the EU Council Working Group on Enlargement (COELA) will again consider the approval of the screening results of negotiation clusters No. 2 and No. 3 for Ukraine. This process was previously blocked by Hungary.

This is reported by “European Pravda” with reference to its own sources in the EU.

It is known that on September 8, European diplomats will once again try to convince Hungary to agree to the opening of clusters No. 2 and No. 3 for Ukraine.

“Approval of the screening results of clusters No. 2 and No. 3 for Ukraine is the first item on the agenda of the COELA group,” one of the interlocutors of “EuroPravda” reported.

According to him, the second issue will be the approval of the screening results of clusters No. 2 and No. 3 for Moldova. Currently, Ukraine and Moldova continue to move together in the negotiation process for accession to the EU.

It was previously reported that at the Intergovernmental Conference between Ukraine and the European Union, Cluster 6 of negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the EU “Foreign Relations” was officially opened.
