The European Union will allocate about 50 million euros for the restoration of Ukrainian hospitals that have been significantly damaged as a result of military operations or are operating under increased workload.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

“During the fifth meeting of the Steering Committee of the Ukraine Investment Framework (UIF), it was agreed to allocate additional funding under the guarantees of the European Union for the joint project of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the World Bank “Strengthening the Health System and Saving Lives” (HEAL Ukraine),” the department explained.

The allocated funds will cover the preparatory and construction stages of project implementation.
