The European Union will transfer an additional 80 million euros to Ukraine from revenues from Russian assets

The head of European diplomacy announced that the EU will transfer additional funds to Ukraine from revenues generated by frozen Russian assets.

“Today I am pleased to announce that we are providing Ukraine with an additional 80 million euros, obtained from the profits from frozen Russian assets. Regarding energy needs, we briefly discussed this today,” the official noted.

She added that Europe continues to mobilize international support for Ukraine.

Recall that during her visit to Ukraine, the head of European diplomacy, Kaia Kallas, stated that there is no “good news” yet regarding the provision of a loan of 90 billion.

Previously, the European Union offered Ukraine an alternative way to receive financial assistance amid the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s blocking of the loan.
