The evacuation zone for children has been expanded in the Donetsk region: which communities have been included?

In the Donetsk region, the zone of mandatory evacuation of children with their parents has been expanded. Separate settlements of the Svyatohirsk, Sloviansk, and Novodonetsk communities have been added to it.

This was reported by the head of the Donetsk OAV Vadym Filashkin.

He noted that the decision applies to a number of villages and settlements in three communities. In addition, the evacuation zone includes certain streets in Sloviansk.

Children will be evacuated with their parents, guardians, or other legal representatives.

Local military administrations, police, rescuers, and children’s services will be involved in the evacuation.

According to Filashkin, families will be accompanied from the moment of departure to the reception center, and then they will be helped with placement in safer regions of Ukraine.

The head of the region emphasized that the decision to expand the evacuation was made to prevent new victims among children.
