The figures in “Mindichgate” were in the SBI building

The State Bureau of Investigation confirmed the fact that individuals involved in the Mindichgate scandal were present in the premises of the Bureau’s central office.

This was announced by the head of the Internal Control Department of the State Bureau of Investigation, Bohdan Chobitok, during a meeting of the Temporary Investigative Commission, Censor.NET reports.

The inspection was conducted to determine whether SBI officers were involved in the illegal activities of those involved in the scandal. According to Chobitko, it was possible to establish the purpose, subject of discussion, and the circle of people with whom the visitors contacted.

During the meeting, the Head of the Main Investigation Department of the State Bureau of Investigation, Dmytro Mirkovets, provided additional details about the suspects’ stay in the Bureau building.

The State Bureau of Investigation noted that currently none of the agency’s employees have been held disciplinary accountable.

More detailed information was provided to the head of the TSK, Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
