The first frost is approaching: forecasters warned of nighttime lows

This weekend, Ukrainians can expect autumnal coolness without precipitation, but in some regions, the first frosts on the ground are already possible.

This was reported by the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.

On Saturday, September 27, dry weather will persist throughout the country. The temperature at night will range from +1 to +6°C, but frosts to –3°C are expected on the soil surface in places. It will be warmer only in the southern regions, in Crimea and Transcarpathia, where +4…+9°C is forecast at night. During the day, the temperature will rise to +12…+17°C, and in the Carpathians — to +15°C, although frosts to –3°C are possible there at night. The wind is mainly northeasterly, 5–10 m/s.

There will also be no precipitation in Kyiv. The temperature at night will be +4…+6°C, and during the day it is expected to reach +15°C. The wind is northeasterly, weak.

On Sunday, September 28, weather conditions will remain stable. In general, no precipitation is expected, although slight rain is possible in places during the day in the northern regions. Nighttime temperatures will fluctuate within +4…+9°C, daytime temperatures will range from +10…+15°C, and in the southern regions and Transcarpathia up to +19°C.

The capital will be dry at night, with light rain possible during the day. The air temperature at night will be +6…+8°C, during the day – +12…+14°C. The wind is northeast, without sharp gusts.
