The first part of the second season of “Wednesday” has been released on Netflix

On August 6, the first episodes of the second season of the series “Wednesday”, which combines elements of comedy and horror, appeared on the Netflix streaming platform.

The video was posted on Netflix Ukraine’s Instagram .

The continuation of the popular show about Wednesday Addams received new characters, a new director of the academy and a video message from the leading actress Jenna Ortega especially for Ukrainian viewers.

“Hello, Ukraine. Nevermore is calling. More monsters, more secrets, more darkness. Wednesday is now available on Netflix,” the actress said in a message published on Netflix Ukraine’s Instagram page.

Jenna Ortega also became one of the producers of the second season.

The cast also includes stars Steve Buscemi (as Barry Dort, the new headmaster of Nevermore Academy), Tandive Newton, Christopher Lloyd, Fred Armisen, Joanna Lumley, Geezer Matarazzo, Joonas Suotamo and more.

Barry Dort takes over the academy after the death of the previous director, Larissa Wimms (played by Gwendoline Christie). His approach to management focuses on developing “outcasts” and reducing contact with “normal” people.

The second season also sees the return of familiar characters: Enid (Emma Myers), Bianca (Joy Sunday), Isaac Ordonez, Musa Mostafa, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman and others.
