Forecaster Natalka Didenko warned that frosty weather in Ukraine will persist until the end of January.
She wrote about this on social media.
In particular, this coming weekend, according to weather forecasters, the air temperature will be -10°C…-16°C.
At night, in the northern regions, thermometers can drop to -22°C. It will be warmest in Transcarpathia and the far south — -2°C…-5°C.
No serious precipitation is expected on January 17 and 18, only snow is expected in Crimea.
However, in some places, mainly in the southern part of the country, northeasterly wind gusts can reach stormy levels.
It is worth noting that social media users today recorded how the thermometers in the Rivne and Ivano-Frankivsk regions reached -30°C.
