Unstable weather with temperature fluctuations is expected in Ukraine in the coming days. Forecasters predict that after a short warming, frosts will return.
According to weather forecaster Natalka Didenko, starting February 5, the air temperature will rise, precipitation will increase, and the wind will strengthen. However, the frost will not last long.
“From February 9th, a new wave of cold will visit Ukraine again,” she warns.
According to her, the peak of the frost is most likely behind us, and the new cold snap will be a little less severe. It will probably last until February 12, after which it will warm up again.
As weather forecaster Vitaly Postrygan notes, the peak of the current cold snap has already passed. Severe frosts will still persist on February 4, but gradual warming will begin on February 5. Anticyclone Daniel, which brought anomalous cooling, is gradually retreating to the east, and its place is taken by the trough of cyclone Romina with warm air masses from the Atlantic and the Mediterranean.
Despite the warming, the temperature increase will be slow and short-lived. A new wave of cold air of Scandinavian origin is expected to arrive on February 8-9, but it will be less intense than the previous one.
