The General Staff confirmed the attack on the Russian frigate and oil infrastructure

The Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a Russian frigate, an oil terminal, and a number of other enemy military facilities.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the military, on April 5, Ukrainian forces struck the Sheskharis oil terminal in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation. The attack damaged the standers of berths No. 1, No. 1A, and No. 2, and also damaged equipment at berths No. 6 and No. 7.

The pipeline system for distributing and shipping oil was also damaged. In addition, three RVSPK-50000 tanks at the Hrushova oil transshipment depot, which supports the operation of this terminal, were confirmed to have been damaged.

Separately, the military confirmed that two strike drones hit a Russian frigate of the Project 11356P type “Burevestnik”, which is a carrier of “Caliber” cruise missiles. The extent of the damage is being clarified.

In addition, units of the Defense Forces struck drone control points in the areas of Zeleny, Zaporizhia region, and Udachny, Donetsk region.

Strikes were also recorded on enemy manpower concentrations in the areas of Strohanivka and Krasnohirske in Zaporizhia region, as well as Rodynske in Donetsk region.

The General Staff emphasized that Ukrainian forces continue to systematically reduce the military-economic potential of the Russian Federation and its ability to wage war.

It was previously reported that the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with the Unmanned Systems Forces, conducted a large-scale operation in the Black Sea – the Sivash drilling platform, which the Russians were using as a military facility, was hit .

As a reminder, on the night of April 5 , the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of facilities of the Russian aggressor, including an oil refinery, a port , and an aircraft equipment warehouse. As a result of the attacks, fires were recorded at some facilities, and the extent of the damage is being determined.
