The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the defeat of the Russian oil refinery “Kirishinefteorgsintez” in the Leningrad region.
The General Staff reported this.
It is reported that on the night of September 14, 2025, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces and Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, attacked the Kirishi Oil Refinery in the Leningrad Region.
Explosions and a fire were recorded at the oil refinery. The results of the damage are being clarified.
Kirishi Oil Refinery is one of the largest oil refineries in the Russian Federation. This facility produces about 80 types of oil products, including motor gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel, etc., and is used to meet the needs of the Russian Armed Forces.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces are systematically working to weaken the military-economic capabilities of the aggressor state, in particular, to provide the occupation forces with fuel, weapons and ammunition.
Let us recall that on the night of September 14, 2025, the Kirishi Oil Refinery (KINEF) in the Leningrad Region of Russia was attacked by drones .
