On the night of December 5, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked important facilities in two Russian regions.
This was reported by the General Staff.
In particular, the infrastructure of the Temryutsk seaport in the Krasnodar Territory was affected. It handles general cargo, liquid cargo (liquefied natural gas and chemical cargo), bulk cargo, and bulk cargo.
In addition, the Temryutsk seaport is involved in supplying the Russian occupation army.
As a result of the attack, a fire broke out on the territory of the facility. The extent of the damage is currently being determined.
Ukrainian units also targeted an oil refinery in the Samara region. The Syzransky refinery processes 7 to 8.9 million tons of oil annually. The Russians have used it to support their troops.
At the same time, the General Staff confirmed the results of the recent attack on the Saratov Oil Refinery. As it turned out, the ELOU-AVT-6 primary oil purification unit was damaged there.
“As of early December 2025, the plant has completely stopped primary processing of crude oil and is operating at less than 50% of its design capacity with a complete shutdown of key installations,” the agency added.
It was previously reported that unknown drones attacked two Russian regions , hitting a seaport and an oil refinery.
As is known, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck one of the largest chemical enterprises in Russia – the Nevinnomyssk Azot plant in the Stavropol Territory.
Recall that the Ukrainian Defense Forces, reducing the military potential of the occupying army, struck a number of targets in Russia and in the temporarily occupied territory.
