The General Staff confirmed the destruction of two Russian enterprises and an aircraft at the Yeysk airfield.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
According to military data, Ukrainian forces struck the main production buildings of the Proton-Electrotex plant in Orel. The company produces optoelectronic equipment, including modules for S-71 “Kover” cruise missiles and inverter switches for Iskander-M ballistic missiles.
The General Staff noted that the destruction of the plant complicates the production of components for the missiles with which Russian troops attack Ukrainian cities.
The Togliattikauchuk plant in Tolyatti was also struck on the night of October 24. The plant produces synthetic rubbers, monomers, and other chemical products. Specifically, its products are used to manufacture rigid rocket fuel for tactical and ballistic missiles.
Ukrainian forces also hit an aircraft at the Yeysk airfield. The extent of the damage is being determined.
