The General Staff denied the Russian fake about the attack on the bus with the children’s team

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied the Russian side’s statements about an alleged attack by a Ukrainian drone on a bus with a children’s football team in the Bryansk region.

The military command emphasized that during the period specified by Russia, the Ukrainian Defense Forces did not use drones against targets in the Bryansk region.

The General Staff stated that such reports are another information provocation by the Kremlin. They noted that Russia is increasingly resorting to manipulation and fabricated accusations against Ukraine against the backdrop of failures on the battlefield.

At the same time, the General Staff recalled that it is Russia that systematically strikes Ukrainian cities, residential areas, hospitals, schools, and other civilian objects. In particular, as a result of the recent missile attacks on Ukraine, including the strike on Kyiv, dozens of civilians, including children, were killed.

The General Staff emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine strike exclusively at legitimate military targets and do not conduct hostilities against the civilian population.
