The General Staff on the situation at the front: where the enemy attacked most actively

Russian troops are not reducing the intensity of attacks along the entire front line. Over the past day, fighting has continued in almost all directions, with the fiercest clashes recorded in eastern and southern Ukraine.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In total, 191 combat engagements took place during the day. Russia launched three missile and 65 air strikes, used nine missiles and dropped 194 guided bombs. In addition, the occupiers carried out over 3,800 shellings, including over a hundred from multiple launch rocket systems, and launched thousands of attack drones.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the enemy actively used aviation and artillery. Russian troops carried out several airstrikes, shelled the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and nearby settlements almost a hundred times, but did not achieve a breakthrough.
In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy tried to attack Ukrainian positions in the Vovchansk and Prylipki areas five times, but suffered losses and retreated.
In the Kupyansk direction, the occupiers advanced three times towards Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, and Kupyansk. Ukrainian units held their positions.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried nine times to penetrate the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Nadiya, Zarechny, and in the direction of Lyman. All attacks were stopped by the Ukrainian military.
In the Slavyansk direction, Russian troops carried out seven offensive operations. Defense forces repelled assaults near Svyato-Pokrovsky, Pazeny, and Zakitny.
The enemy did not conduct active offensive operations in the Kramatorsk direction .
21 attacks were recorded in the Kostyantynivka direction . The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of Oleksandro-Shultyny, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Rusyny Yar and towards Kostyantynivka, but without success.
The situation in the Pokrovske direction remained one of the most difficult. During the day, Ukrainian defenders stopped 43 enemy assault actions in the areas of a number of settlements around Pokrovske and Myrnograd.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy launched 14 attacks, trying to put pressure on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in several settlements.
In the Hulyaipil direction, Ukrainian troops stopped 46 Russian attempts to advance. The enemy suffered significant losses and did not achieve any tactical successes.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units twice, but both attempts ended in failure.
In the Dnieper direction, Russian troops twice tried to storm Ukrainian positions and were repelled.
No signs of preparation for an offensive were recorded in the Volyn and Polissya directions .
Recall that over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military eliminated 940 Russian occupiers . They also destroyed five tanks, six armored combat vehicles, 46 artillery systems, a multiple launch rocket system, an air defense system, 879 drones, and 157 vehicles.
