The government is preparing compensation for victims of the tragedy in the Buchan district

The government will decide at an extraordinary meeting to allocate funds from the reserve fund to support and compensate those affected by the tragedy in the Buchanan district. The authorities are also developing new algorithms for the operation of the state, the capital, the economy, and critical infrastructure in light of the changing tactics of Russian attacks.

This was announced by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky.

The Prime Minister noted that he reported to the President on 2 key issues. The first concerns financial support and compensation for those affected by the tragedy in the Buchanan district.

The second issue is the adaptation of the work of the state, the capital, the economy, and critical infrastructure to the new tactics of Russian attacks.

Following the results of an expanded meeting, which was attended by the Commander-in-Chief, the Minister of Internal Affairs, representatives of the State Emergency Service, the mayor of Kyiv, representatives of the President’s Office and the National Security and Defense Council, the authorities are developing specific proposals for the work of the state in the new conditions.

“Prolonged airstrikes affect not only the safety of people, but also the work of enterprises, logistics, transport, schools, kindergartens and other areas of life,” Koretsky noted.

According to him, Russia is trying to paralyze economic activity in the capital and large cities, so response algorithms must change.

In particular, the authorities are working on solutions regarding:

• the work of enterprises and institutions during various types of hazards;
• logistics and transport organizations;
• subway works;
• functioning of other critical infrastructure facilities.

Separately, they plan to review approaches to curfews and civilian access to more timely information about air threats.

The government emphasizes that changes must occur without creating additional risks to people’s safety.

The necessary proposals are planned to be formulated at the beginning of next week, after which they should be presented to the public and implemented.

By the way, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the first hit in the village of Myla in the Kyiv region fell on a storage site for shells, mines, other ammunition, and drones of the Defense Forces , “which should not have been near people.”

Earlier, “Pryamiy” wrote that at least 27 people were killed as a result of an enemy attack on the Buchansky district of the Kyiv region. The elimination of the consequences of the attack is ongoing.
