The government plans to cut four thousand positions, but the list has not yet been determined
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine does not have information about which 4,000 positions they plan to cut within the framework of the optimization of budget expenditures announced by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky.
This is reported by Ukrainian News Agency with reference to the Cabinet of Ministers’ response.
The Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that they do not have a separate document with a list of positions that are subject to reduction. Therefore, the request was forwarded to the Ministry of Economy and the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service (NACS).

At the same time, the National Agency for Statistics also stated that there was no relevant data.
“The National Agency for State Statistics does not have documented information regarding the list of civil service positions and state bodies that will be affected by the aforementioned reduction,” the agency’s response states.

At the time of publication, the Ministry of Economy had not yet responded to the request.
It was previously reported that the Cabinet of Ministers, as part of the reform of the state apparatus, plans to reduce about 4,300 vacant positions in central executive bodies. In addition, the government intends to reduce the number of deputies in ministries and other state bodies.
