The GUR made a new statement about the end of the war: when and under what conditions

Andriy Yusov, spokesman for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, said that the war in Ukraine could end by the end of 2025.

He said this in an interview with News.Live.

According to Yusov, for the war to end by the end of this year, a number of factors must coincide. In particular, we are talking about increased sanctions and economic pressure on the aggressor, increased assistance to Ukraine – defense and economic, as well as the ability of the Ukrainian Defense Forces to deter and repel the enemy.

In addition, diplomatic skills and societal readiness are important aspects for achieving peace.

“Of course, there are external and internal signs, the economic situation in Russia, their losses, which indicate certain indicators. But the real situation on the battlefield is the real situation on the battlefield,” the representative of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense emphasized.

Recall that earlier, Kirill Budanov stated that a ceasefire on the Ukrainian-Russian front should be achieved in 2025 .

By the way, Kyrylo Budanov stated that it would not be possible to turn the Ukrainian government towards the Russian Federation now , therefore he rejected the Georgian scenario for ending the war.
