The GUR was hit by Russian Su-30 and Su-27 fighters at the airfield near Lipetsk

On the night of December 20-21, 2025, a fire broke out at a Russian military airfield near Lipetsk, damaging two Su-30 and Su-27 fighter jets. Both aircraft were disabled as a result of a special operation by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of the GUR.
It is noted that the operation was carried out with the participation of a representative of the resistance movement to the criminal Russian regime. As a result of the actions, two enemy military aircraft used by Russia in the war against Ukraine were hit.
It is noted that the estimated total cost of the affected Su-30 and Su-27 fighters could reach up to $100 million.
According to intelligence, aircraft with tail numbers “12” and “82” were destroyed directly in the protective aircraft hangar. Preparations for the operation at the airfield near Lipetsk lasted about two weeks.
During the planning process, patrol routes and guard change schedules were studied in detail. This allowed for stealthy penetration of the military facility, striking aircraft, and unhindered exit from the airfield.
The GUR emphasized that the struggle for Ukraine’s freedom continues.
By the way, long-range drones of the SBU’s Alpha Special Operations Center attacked two Russian Su-27 aircraft at the Crimean Belbek airfield.
Recall that the Security Service of Ukraine conducted a unique operation, using drones to hit a submarine in a Russian port .
