The head of the Volyn OVA leaves his post and moves to the SBU
The head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration, Ivan Rudnytskyi, is transferred to the position of Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
This was reported by People’s Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko.
According to him, today the Cabinet of Ministers must agree to dismiss Rudnytsky from the post of head of the Volyn OVA. After that, the president will sign a decree appointing him to the post of deputy head of the SBU.
Ivan Rudnytskyi holds the rank of Colonel of the SBU and worked in counterintelligence. Before being appointed head of the Volyn OVA, he headed the SBU department in the Volyn region.
This is the third appointment of a deputy head of the SBU within a week.
It was previously reported that the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense did not support the president’s proposal to dismiss the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Malyuk.
As a reminder, the President of Ukraine appointed new heads of the Chernivtsi, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, and Vinnytsia regional state administrations.
