President Donald Trump said this during a live broadcast on Fox News.
“I think with a high degree of certainty we have him apprehended,” Trump said, hinting that the apprehension was made possible by a tip from a person who was “very close to the killer.”
The president promised that more details would be released later today.
As a reminder, conservative activist, founder of Turning Point USA and close ally of President Donald Trump , Charlie Kirk, was shot and killed during a speech at Utah Valley University . This attack was the 46th shooting at a US school this year.
Earlier, American law enforcement authorities detained a man suspected of involvement in the shooting that killed prominent ultraconservative activist Charlie Kirk. However, he was released after questioning.
