On March 3, the International Atomic Energy Agency reported damage to an underground uranium enrichment plant in Natangh, Iran.

The agency reported this on H’s social network.

The conclusions were based on an analysis of new satellite images. According to the IAEA, the entrance buildings to the Natanz facility sustained damage.

At the same time, the agency emphasized that no additional impact on the underground complex itself has been recorded. No radiological consequences are expected in this regard.

The IAEA also clarified that the facility had already suffered significant damage during the conflict in June. However, new satellite data does not indicate any deterioration in the situation inside the facility.

As a reminder, on February 28, Israel launched preemptive strikes against Iran and also attacked Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon . A state of emergency was declared throughout the country.

It later emerged that the strikes on Iran were a joint operation between Israel and the United States . Following this, US President Donald Trump confirmed that the United States had launched a military campaign in Iran .
