The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced a recent strike on an Iranian nuclear facility where nuclear weapons development was underway.
According to The Times of Israel , the facility is located near Tehran. The Israeli military has identified it as the Talegan complex. The IDF has targeted it in recent days.
The Israeli military said Iran used the facility to “develop advanced explosives and conduct secret experiments as part of Project AMAD,” Iran’s secret nuclear weapons program.
“The Iranian regime continues its efforts to advance and develop the capabilities necessary to develop nuclear weapons,” the IDF said.
They explained that the recent strike is part of a “series of operations” aimed at “further detonating the nuclear ambitions of the Iranian terrorist regime.”
Let us recall that on March 3, the Israeli military announced the destruction of an Iranian nuclear facility located on the outskirts of Tehran .
