The information about the departure of 600,000 people from the capital has not been confirmed by any unit of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

This was stated by KMVA spokeswoman Kateryna Pop during the telethon, Ukrainska Pravda reports .

“Currently, if such a number of subscribers who are provided with electricity services had left, then, probably, the electricity situation would not be so critical,” the spokeswoman is convinced.

She added that despite the statements, the city military administration does not see the result of the departure in the context of reducing electricity consumption.

In addition, Pop said that about 1,300 Invincibility Points have already been deployed in Kyiv.

It was previously reported that a critical situation continues in Kyiv due to Russian attacks: according to Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, about 600,000 residents left the capital after the attacks on January 9 .
