Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has once again spread unsubstantiated accusations against Ukraine, this time claiming that sabotage is allegedly being prepared in Poland and Romania.

This is reported by Russian media.

A Russian official claims that Kyiv is planning to use refurbished Russian drones to attack NATO transport hubs and then blame Moscow for the attack. Experts call these statements another attempt by the Kremlin to justify its actions and prepare the information ground for new attacks in Europe.

Zakharova referred to alleged publications by Hungarian media outlets, stating that the Ukrainian authorities are planning an “operation under a foreign flag.” According to her, the scenario looks like this: repairing downed Russian UAVs, equipping them with explosives, and launching them in the direction of Poland and Romania. All these actions, according to the Russian propagandist, should become a pretext for drawing NATO into a war with Russia.

The Kremlin spokeswoman did not limit herself to assumptions and stated that “Europe has never been so close to the start of World War III.” These theses are actively disseminated in the Russian media as “evidence of Ukraine’s aggressive plans.”

Zakharova also made up the story that repaired Geran drones were allegedly brought to the Yavoriv test site for future attacks. Such claims are made without any confirmation and are a typical example of disinformation aimed at discrediting Ukraine in the international arena.

Similar statements by Russian officials come against the backdrop of Russia’s regular attacks on Ukrainian and European targets with kamikaze drones, which Moscow itself actively uses. Analysts emphasize that the spread of fakes about “operations under a foreign flag” is part of the Kremlin’s information war and an attempt to divert attention from its own crimes.

It was previously reported that flights of unidentified drones were recorded in Denmark, Sweden, Lithuania, Norway, and Finland, some of which flew near military facilities and strategic infrastructure.

By the way, on Friday, September 26, several unidentified drones were spotted over the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany . Schleswig-Holstein borders Denmark, where drones have been spotted three times this week. Local authorities have launched an official investigation into the incident.

It should be noted that earlier, operations at Aalborg Airport in North Jutland were temporarily suspended after unidentified drones appeared in its airspace.

On the night of September 23 , Gardermoen International Airport in the capital of Norway was forced to temporarily suspend operations after unidentified drones were spotted in the airspace above the airport.
