The Kremlin commented for the first time on the massive drone attacks on Moscow

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has commented for the first time on the drone attacks on Moscow, which have continued for a second day. He said that Russian air defenses are “working effectively” and that strikes on Ukraine will continue.

According to Peskov, drone attacks on Moscow are continuing, and the relevant services are dealing with the consequences. He also noted that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is regularly informed about the situation.

“Indeed, drone attacks continue, appropriate measures are being taken to eliminate the consequences. High performance of air defense systems, no matter what. As for the president, he receives updates regularly, several times a day and, if necessary, at any time of the day or night,” Peskov noted.

In addition, the Kremlin spokesman stated that Russian residents should pay attention not only to the consequences of attacks on Russian territory, but also to the results of Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities.
