The Kremlin said that a meeting between US President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin is possible only after reaching preliminary agreements. Moscow believes that the summit should be devoted to fixing the final agreement, rather than conducting initial negotiations.

This is reported by Russian media.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that holding the summit would be pointless without first preparing a final document. He noted that the leaders’ meeting should put an end to the agreements that have already been developed.

The Kremlin representative also stated that the negotiation process will require significant efforts from all sides.

According to him, reaching joint solutions cannot be reduced to a “primitive agreement” because the parties have complex and deep contradictions.

It was previously reported that CIA Director John Ratcliffe, during a secret visit to Moscow, proposed holding a trilateral summit involving US President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
