The Kremlin stated that they currently see no prerequisites for a peaceful resolution of the war against Ukraine, and again placed the responsibility for this on Kyiv.

This was reported by the Russian propaganda agency TASS, citing Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

According to Peskov, there are allegedly no prerequisites for a peaceful resolution of the war at the moment due to the position of the Ukrainian side.

The Kremlin has repeatedly accused Ukraine of a lack of progress in the peace process, while Russia continues to attack Ukrainian cities.

Separately, Peskov commented on the possible visit to Russia of US President’s special representative Steve Witkoff and the American leader’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.

He said there were no specific dates for a possible visit at the moment. At the same time, Peskov said that Witkoff and Kushner remain “desirable interlocutors” for Moscow and Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

Earlier it was reported that Russia has already started talking about what to do with the military after the end of the war against Ukraine . Vladimir Putin said that the authorities should prepare in advance for their return from the front and employment.
