The Kremlin threatened to respond to the drone attack on St. Petersburg.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia’s response to the Ukrainian attacks will be “systemic.” He made this comment regarding the drone strikes in St. Petersburg.

This was reported by the Russian Izvestia.

According to Peskov, in order to prevent similar attacks from happening again, Russia will continue its so-called “special military operation.”

“I can say that the SVO is continuing to prevent such strikes,” he said.

As previously reported, Ukrainian drone attacks hit military and fuel infrastructure facilities in St. Petersburg. Specifically, the Petersburg Oil Terminal, the corvette Boykiy , which carries guided missiles, and the Veleshinsky dry dock, known in Russia as the “cradle of the Navy,” were hit.

As a reminder, on the night of Wednesday, June 3, several Russian regions came under massive drone attacks. Reports of explosions came from St. Petersburg, the Tambov region, and Moscow.
