The Russian authorities have transferred the assets of Auchan, Nestle and the former Leroy Merlin chain under the control of a little-known company. The decision also applies to the Russian structures of logistics companies FM Logistics and Bati Logistics.

This was reported by the Russian Interfax, citing a decree by Vladimir Putin, signed on September 17. The document was published on the Russian portal of regulatory and legal information.

According to the decree, the assets were transferred to temporary management by the joint-stock company “L.E.V. Management”. This includes, in particular, the Russian structures of Auchan and Nestle, as well as LLC “Le Monlid” – the former Russian division of Leroy Merlin, whose stores now operate under the brand “Lemana PRO”.

The assets of FM Logistics and Bati Logistics were also transferred under the management of this company.

“L.E.V. Management” was registered in Moscow in October 2024. Andrey Krayushkin is listed as the General Director. Information about the company’s owners has not been disclosed. According to the Russian Interfax, in 2025 the company did not conduct active activities.

Nestle has been operating in Russia since 1994 and has six production sites there. Auchan entered the Russian market in 2002 and currently has 230 stores in 100 cities. Leroy Merlin has been operating in the Russian Federation since 2004, and its former Russian chain, after changing its name, has 112 stores and 11 darkstores.

At the same time, the wording of “nationalization” needs clarification: the decree itself provides for the temporary management of assets, not the final termination of the ownership rights of the previous owners.
