On the night of Friday, October 3, Russia launched the most massive strike since the start of the full-scale war on gas production facilities in the Kharkiv and Poltava regions. The occupiers fired 35 missiles, a significant number of which were ballistic, as well as 60 drones. The strikes caused widespread destruction.

This was reported by the press service of Naftogaz.

It is noted that the enemy damaged many production facilities, some of them were critically destroyed.

The company emphasized that the strike was a serious test for the Ukrainian power system. Despite the losses, a prompt response and work with international partners to minimize the consequences are ongoing.

“The elimination of the consequences of the strike is ongoing. We are working with Ukrainian partners to ensure that the response to this strike and its impact on the overall situation is prompt and sufficient. Terror should not achieve its goal anywhere,” said Serhiy Koretsky, Chairman of the Naftogaz Group.

Meanwhile, preparations for the 2025-2026 heating season in Ukraine are continuing on schedule . According to Deputy Minister of Energy for European Integration Olga Yukhymchuk, gas accumulation is taking place without deviations, and available resources will allow us to meet the needs of the population.

We remind you that heating began to be provided in Kyiv on October 3. First of all, in hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and other social institutions.
