The leader of “Nogu Svelo!” came to Kyiv for the first time in 15 years and came under fire
The frontman of the Russian band “Nogu Svelo!”, Max Pokrovsky, arrived in Kyiv for the first time in over 15 years. On the very first night, the musician survived a massive Russian attack using missiles and drones.
He announced this on his social media.
On the morning of August 5, Pokrovsky published a video in which he said that this was his first morning in Kyiv in many years.
“This is my first morning in Kyiv in 15 years, maybe more. Yesterday was the first night, and it wasn’t calm. There was a very serious attack with ballistic missiles and drones,” the musician said.
He recorded the second part of the video during the air raid. The video shows a siren, and after the explosions, Pokrovsky and his companion descend to the shelter.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Max Pokrovsky has openly condemned Russian aggression and supported Ukraine. Together with the band “Nogu Svelo!”, he has released a number of songs and videos in support of Ukrainians, and also regularly participates in actions with the Ukrainian flag in the United States, where he currently lives.
