Today, July 29, in Kyiv, the Lybidska metro station was temporarily closed to passengers due to the discovery of a suspicious object.

The Kyiv City State Administration press service reported this.

“A suspicious object was found at the Lybidska metro station. For security reasons, the station is temporarily closed for entry and exit for passengers,” the statement said.

An explosives team was called to the scene. Trains are passing Lybidska station without stopping.

Lybidska station resumed operations at 4:40 p.m.

“Lybidska metro station is open for entry and exit. Trains are operating as usual. The foreign object was checked – it does not pose a threat,” the Kyiv City State Administration reported.
