The magnetic storm is returning: forecasters have named a dangerous date

After several days of increased solar activity, the geomagnetic situation has temporarily stabilized. However, experts warn that the lull will not last long. A new disturbance in the Earth’s magnetic field is possible in the coming days.

This is evidenced by data from the British Geological Survey.

According to updated forecasts, no significant geomagnetic fluctuations are expected on June 11. The level of activity will correspond to a K-index of 3, which is considered a weak magnetic storm and does not pose a serious threat to most people.

At the same time, experts note that the situation may change as early as June 12. According to preliminary estimates, there is a possibility of a new G1-level geomagnetic storm.

“Until June 11, geomagnetic conditions will remain mostly calm, however, as early as June 12, a new disturbance in the Earth’s magnetic field is possible,” the experts’ updated forecast states.

Doctors remind that even moderate magnetic storms can affect weather-sensitive people. Most often, during such periods, headaches, fatigue, drowsiness, blood pressure drops, and exacerbation of chronic diseases are observed.

“During times of increased solar activity, it is worth adhering to a sleep regimen, getting more rest, and avoiding excessive exertion,” experts advise.

Experts recommend monitoring your well-being in the coming days, spending more time outdoors, maintaining your water balance, and limiting your coffee and alcohol consumption if possible.
