Olympic champion in Greco-Roman wrestling and MP from the “Servant of the People” Zhan Beleniuk ironically reacted to the call of the mayor of Kyiv to temporarily leave the city. He published a photo from the Bukovel ski resort with a corresponding comment on the social network.

This is reported by Oboz.ua.

It is noted that on January 9, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko addressed the city’s residents after a missile strike on the capital. In his Telegram channel, he advised Kyiv residents who have the opportunity to temporarily move outside the capital to places with alternative sources of electricity and heat.

After that, Zhan Beleniuk posted a photo from his vacation in Bukovel on Instagram. He accompanied his post with an ironic comment.

“The mayor said to leave Kyiv. Who are we to disobey?” wrote Zhan Beleniuk.

It is noted that as a result of the massive missile and drone attack, part of Kyiv was left without heating. In particular, outages were recorded in a number of medical institutions.

To provide hospitals with heat, the municipal enterprise “Kyivteploenergo” deployed mobile boiler houses.

It was later reported that emergency power outages had been imposed throughout Kyiv . The capital’s water supply, heating, and electric transport systems were also suspended.

The day before, it became known that in Kyiv, after a massive combined attack by the enemy, critical infrastructure facilities were damaged. Almost 6 thousand apartment buildings were left without heat supply, and water supply disruptions are also recorded in the city. Klitschko called on residents of the capital who have the opportunity to temporarily leave the city, where there are alternative sources of power and heat, to do so .

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the international community, primarily the United States, to give a decisive and unambiguous response to Russia’s large-scale night attack on Ukraine. At the same time, as a result of the massive Russian shelling on the night of January 9, the water supply and heating in the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine disappeared .

By the way, on the night of January 9, Kyiv was subjected to a massive combined attack by enemy UAVs , which damaged residential buildings and infrastructure in several areas of the city.
