On the evening of February 17, the trilateral meeting between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia, which took place in Geneva, Switzerland, concluded.

According to the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Rustem Umerov , the parties had a joint part, and then continued their work in groups. The political and military groups worked on the negotiations. The first ended about half an hour earlier.
“Thank you to our American partners for the constructive interaction and willingness to work at a working pace,” Umerov wrote.
The teams are expected to continue their work tomorrow and discuss issues in the political and military blocs.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that negotiators should raise the issue of Russian air strikes on Ukrainian cities.
“The guys should definitely ask questions about these strikes – questions primarily to the American side, which suggested both us and Russia to refrain from strikes. Ukraine is ready. We don’t need war,” he emphasized.
Recall that Ukraine plans to hold a separate meeting with representatives of the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and, probably, the United States following the results of the trilateral talks in Switzerland.
In particular, the British and French delegations were at the negotiating site.
As is known, the Ukrainian negotiating delegation has different approaches to a possible peaceful settlement with Russia through US mediation.
It was previously reported that, despite preparations for the talks in Geneva , the parties did not demonstrate a willingness to compromise on key issues of ending the war.
