The Migration Service has changed the conditions for issuing passports to men of draft age abroad: what you need to know
The State Migration Service of Ukraine has announced the condition for issuing already issued passport documents to men of draft age abroad. To obtain a passport, it is necessary to have a valid military registration document with the relevant data in “Reserve+”.
This was reported by the press service of the State Migration Service.
The agency stated that work to restore full stable operation of the systems is ongoing and is planned to be completed by the end of October 2, 2026.
The electronic queue will be completely transferred, preserving the queue at which it was suspended. There is no need to re-register in the electronic queue.
The issuance of already produced passport documents in Ukraine and abroad continues.
At the same time, ready-made passport documents will be issued to men of draft age abroad provided they have a valid military registration document. The relevant data must be displayed in “Reserve+”.
The SMS will provide additional information about the further full restoration of information systems.
It was previously reported thatGermany is ready to help Ukraine establish which Ukrainian men of military age are currently on its territory . Berlin believes that such men should return to Ukraine, but emphasizes that this should be done without coercion.
Recall that martial law and general mobilization are in effect in Ukraine. Currently, men liable for military service between the ages of 25 and 60 are subject to conscription. At the same time, the law provides for a number of cases when a person can receive a deferment.
