The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense will soon present to the government a reform of territorial recruitment and social support centers.
Deputy Defense Minister Vasily Shkurakov announced this during government question hour.
According to him, the reform will be comprehensive and implemented in stages. Meanwhile, a decision has already been made to conduct comprehensive inspections of the Mykolaiv and Odesa TCCs. Inspections are also ongoing at the Uman TCC, and its head has been transferred to another position.
Shkurakov emphasized that confiscating phones from citizens during mobilization activities is unacceptable, and all problematic cases are carefully investigated.
Separately, the Ministry of Defense reported that they are working to improve military pay. Furthermore, key areas of reform preparation include addressing the issue of unauthorized discharge from military units, implementing the program for returning military personnel from the Special Western Units (SZhN), which has been in effect since June 12, and launching an international recruitment program to attract foreigners to serve in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As a reminder, the State Bureau of Investigation opened a criminal investigation following media reports about possible violations of the rights of service members of the Skala assault regiment.
