The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the start of the deployment of the digital system “Impulse”, which will allow military units to keep records of personnel and generate necessary documents in a secure electronic environment. The first units to use the system were the Airborne Assault Forces.
This was reported by the press service of the department.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal emphasized that the implementation of “Impulse” will eliminate the unnecessary bureaucratic burden on the military and increase management efficiency.
“From now on, military units will receive quick access to up-to-date information about people, and the command will be able to make management decisions based on clear, transparent data for each unit,” he emphasized.
The system makes it possible to record changes in the service of each serviceman, automatically generate orders, certificates and statistics, which remain coordinated and accessible only to authorized persons. Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development Oksana Ferchuk emphasized that “Impulse” is the result of teamwork of the IT units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which ensured compliance with NATO international standards in the field of cybersecurity.
“It is important for us to deploy the system en masse so that every unit can use its benefits. This is an example of teamwork in the IT sector of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” she added.
At the same time, Brigadier General Andriy Lebedenko, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, noted that the system optimizes administrative processes in the army and provides quick access to personnel data, which significantly increases management efficiency.
In the future, “Impulse” is planned to be integrated with other digital solutions for the Defense Forces: the “Army+” application, the electronic document management system, and the Medical Information System. This will create a single digital space for personnel management in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Previously, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the appearance of a deferral in the “Reserve+” application for another category of the population.
The day before, Ukraine improved the system of digital control over military registration : from now on, in the “Reserve+” application, you can pay a fine for failure to register for military registration at a new address after changing your place of residence. This allows not only to resolve violations more quickly, but also to avoid accumulating debts and problems with the law.
We would like to remind you that Ukraine has officially launched a new digital service in the “Reserve+” application , which allows you to apply for a deferment from mobilization for education. This will simplify the procedure for applying for a deferment for students and significantly reduce the bureaucratic burden.
