The Netherlands increases defense funding for Ukraine

The Netherlands has decided to allocate another 700 million euros to Ukraine for military support as early as 2026.

This is reported by the country’s government.

They explained that they had previously planned to give 3.5 billion euros for next year, but a significant part of this amount was spent earlier – this year.

Foreign Minister David van Weel said on the X social network that the government is accelerating funding so that Ukraine receives the necessary military equipment without interruption in the first months of 2026.

It was previously reported thatSlovenia is increasing its support for Ukraine and plans to allocate about 43 million euros by the end of the year for the purchase of weapons under the American PURL program.

Recall that Denmark will significantly reduce military assistance to Ukraine in 2026.
