The Netherlands will provide Ukraine with an additional 500 million euros in military aid.
This was announced by Dutch Prime Minister Rob Yetten during a joint press conference with President Volodymyr Zelensky on October 28.
According to Yetten, his country will continue to support Ukraine, which defends not only its own independence, but also the security of all of Europe.
An additional €500 million will be allocated to military support, including air defense assets and drones needed to counter Russian air attacks.
Zelensky thanked the Netherlands for its assistance and stressed the need to strengthen the protection of Ukraine’s energy sector before winter.
“The key deficit is anti-ballistic missiles to intercept Russian ballistics. The Russians are making a key bet on ballistics in this war, especially before winter,” the president noted.
Recall that earlier the Netherlands announced a 1.2 billion euro aid package for Ukraine , aimed at restoring infrastructure and supporting the economy.
