The Netherlands will provide 2 million euros for the return of children from Russia

The Dutch government has allocated 2 million euros to search for and return Ukrainian children deported by Russia.

This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.

The funds will be used to purchase DNA kits that will be used to test relatives of missing children. Once the children are returned, the test results will help to more quickly identify them and reunite them with their families.

Part of the funding will be directed towards psychosocial support for children and their families after their return from Russian deportation.

The Dutch government emphasized that it continues to support international efforts to document war crimes and return Ukrainian children home.

As previously reported, Ukraine returned six more children and adolescents from the temporarily occupied territories as part of the President’s Bring Kids Back UA initiative.

Recall that France will provide Ukraine with grant financial assistance in the amount of 71 million euros. Part of the funds will be directed to the restoration of the energy sector.
