The Netherlands will provide Ukraine with 200 million euros to combat drones

The Netherlands announced a new support package for Ukraine, signed a memorandum of understanding and the creation of a defense cluster in Kyiv.
This was stated by Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans in an interview with Ukrinform .
As it became known, the Netherlands will provide Ukraine with new assistance worth 200 million euros for anti-drone systems.
The official emphasized that the recent large-scale shelling by the Russian Federation has proven the need for appropriate systems and ammunition.
Ruben Brekelmans and Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal also signed a memorandum of understanding on industrial cooperation between Ukraine and the Netherlands within the framework of the Build with Ukraine initiative, which promotes the creation of joint ventures and increased production.
Among other things, the Netherlands will create its own defense cluster in Kyiv.
“We have many companies that want to invest and develop their technologies and potential here, so this optimizes their activities and coordination,” the minister explained.
As a reminder,Ukraine and the Netherlands have officially agreed on the joint production of drones . The corresponding memorandum was signed during the visit to Kyiv of the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands, Ruben Brekelmans.
Earlier, Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans announced a new military aid package for Ukraine worth 500 million euros.
