The newly created company “Kvartal UA” LLC turned out to be connected by a common contact number with the company “Next Line Production”, co-owned by businessman Timur Mindich, suspected of corruption.
This was reported by Investigation.Info with reference to the state register.
Journalists found that on November 14, Studio “Kvartal 95” registered a new company, but the number indicated in the register coincides with the number of Mindich’s company. When the reporter called this number and asked if he had been assigned to “Next Line Production”, he was answered in the affirmative.
The press service of “Kvartal 95” insists that Mindich has no connection to “Kvartal UA”. According to them, the sanctions against him concern only the individual and do not affect the studio’s activities.
According to the register, the owners of the new LLC are Serhiy Shefir (54.5%), Iryna Pikalova, Serhiy Kazanin, Yevgeny Koshevoy, Yuriy Krapov, Roman Marov and Oleksandr Pikalov – 7-10.5% each. The authorized capital is UAH 1 million. The studio plans to transfer all production activities to a new legal entity.
The press service adds that by law, “Quarter 95” cannot alienate or redistribute Mindich’s share in the main company, so the LLC continues to exist.
It was previously reported that in the sixteenth episode of the second season of the series “Servant of the People”, an episode was noticed that unexpectedly resembles the current corruption scandal surrounding the co-owner of “Kvartal-95” Timur Mindich.
