The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has confirmed the National Multi-Subject Test (NMT) will be administered abroad in 31 countries. The NMT is mandatory for admission to Ukrainian higher education institutions.
The Ministry of Education and Science and the Ukrainian Center for Education Quality Assessment ( UCEA ) reported this.
Agreements have now been reached to organize testing in 52 cities outside of Ukraine.
The main session of the NMT will run from May 20 to June 25. It will be held in the following countries: Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Armenia, Georgia, Denmark, Estonia, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Germany, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, the United States, Uzbekistan, Sweden.
An additional session (July 17-24) will be held in Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Canada, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Croatia and the Czech Republic.
The Center noted that negotiations with individual foreign partners are ongoing, and the number of locations may increase.
Registration for the NMT will begin on March 5 and run until April 2. Applicants will have until April 7 to change their test location if a more convenient location becomes available.
At the same time, the Ministry of Education and Science notes that the number of places abroad is limited, so once they are exhausted, a particular location will no longer be available for selection.
Testing outside of Ukraine will take place in specially equipped temporary examination centers with the participation of Ukrainian-speaking teachers trained by the UCEKO, according to the same procedure as in Ukraine.
